A Christmas Prayer

My Grandmothers ledge beside her bed all decorated for Christmas
My cousins Kerrie and Kim bought her the little silver tree and she loves it
Grandma said it reminds her of the silver tree my beatufiful Mother bought one year.

You decide every moment of every day who you are and what you believe in
You get a second chance every single second of every day♥

Christmas Prayer
by Robert Louis Stevenson

Loving Father,
Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift
and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing
which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning
make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds
with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven,
for Jesus' sake.
Amen

Thanks for posting this.

It is so very lovely indeed

"Joy is the true gift of Christmas, not the expensive gifts that call for time and money. We can communicate this joy simply: with a smile, a kind gesture, a little help, forgiveness. And the joy we give will certainly come back to us.…Let us pray that this presence of the liberating joy of God shines forth in our lives." B16
