Driver who fled from crash sought

Windsor police are seeking the public's help to identify a driver who fled after careening into the side of a minivan last week.

Police said a 59-year-old woman had been driving her silver 2010 Dodge Caravan north on Dominion Boulevard just north of Cabana Road West when she observed a small silver car speeding toward her.

The small car attempted to navigate a curve in the road but struck the driver's side of the Caravan. The driver of the small car continued driving south on Dominion Boulevard without attempting to stop. The car is believed to have extensive damage to the driver's side.

The Caravan sustained about $7,000 in damage. Its driver was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police traffic enforcement unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4211, or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477.
