Pitblado, Douglas James, a resident of Chatham. Douglas James Pitblado passed away peacefully at his residence with his family at his side on Sunday April 24, 2011 at the age of 34. Born in Chatham cherished son of Diane (Cass) Pitblado, Chatham and the late Dr. Ronald E. Pitblado. (2009). Beloved husband of Kathryn Kovacs-Pitblado. Dear father of Georgia & James Pitblado. Brother of Dave Pitblado & Leia Patzernuk, Burlington. Special son-in-law of Jim & Judy Kovacs, Chatham. Brother-in-law of Carolyn & Aaron Marcotte, LaSalle, and their children Rachel & Jack and Rick & Tanya Kovacs, Belle River and their children Dylan & Blaine. Also survived by Kathryn’s grandfather Murray Wilcox, Chatham Twsp. and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday April 26, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Cremation to follow with Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date.
